On January 27, 2010 Work Service supported the efforts of the Association of the Deaf and Blind to empower physically challenged people to enter the work force. At a work fair / conference entitled “take matters into your own hands” Work Service took things into their own hands by hiring 8 of the 25 people hired at the event. Another 370 attendees signed up for job training and other programs. Work Service’s consultant, Anna Hutnik, received the distinction on behalf of all our employees.
