Change in the management board of Work Service S.A.

On 8 December Piotr Gajek submitted his resignation from the office of Vice President of Work Service S.A. This, however, is not the end of his cooperation with the company. He will continue to advise the Board’s President on restructuring the Work Service Group and implementing the newly adopted strategy.

For the past 2 years Piotr Gajek has been responsible for two very important areas of the Group’s activity. As soon as he joined Work Service as CFO, he initiated restructuring processes. He has conducted the largest issue of shares in the company’s history and contributed to obtaining new financing. At the end of the last year he took over supervision over the entire Group’s activity in Poland by managing operations and sales. Owing to the introduced changes in managing Polish structures, Piotr has increased the business profitability, while the sale of new contracts increased by 40%. I fully understand his decision and want to sincerely thank him for his work at the board. I hope that during the upcoming months he will support us in finishing the transformation processes and implementation of the new strategy – says Maciej Witucki, President of the Management Board of Work Service S.A.

Piotr Gajek has been with Work Service since April 2016 when he became the board’s vice president responsible for the Group’s finances and subsequently for the Group’s largest business line, namely Poland. Over the past months he worked with the entire board on the new strategy of Work Service for 2018-2020.

Before he joined Work Service, he worked for Orange Poland, where from 2009 to 2013 he was executive director of customer relation strategy and Orange Group transformation. Before that, from 1992 to 2002 he worked at Andersen and from 2002 to 2009 he was a partner at EY Business Advisory.
